Pucks and Parents Program
Hockey can and should be a family sport. Our Pucks and Parents Program is geared toward exactly that-- making hockey a family sport. Parents who have a child in youth hockey and themselves have little to no hockey experience, can register for our Hockey Academy - Adult Development Program at about ½ price and receive a loaner bag of equipment for the duration of (1) 8-week session. This program also offers parents who have never played hockey but are interested in coaching, a great way to garner some hands-on hockey experience.
Hockey Academy - Adult Development Program Structure: Camp consists of 8 weekly sessions (:45 minutes each), running 10/12/2021 - 12/7 2021. Camp runs Tuesdays, starting at 6:45 pm. Click for more information about our Adult Development Program,
Requirements:
- Full gear is required (we provide loaner bag of equipment).
- For parents with little to no hockey experience who have never participated in the Adult League or Adult Development Program, and have a child participating in youth hockey (Hockey Academy
 , Youth Recreation League, Travel, or High School).
- Must be 18 or older and *USA Hockey Registered*.
- Discount and loaner equipment available for one session only (contact Director of Hockey Development, Dave Stevens, immediately afrer registering for equipment).
We also offer Adult Learn to Skate classes through our Skate Academy. These are 8 week sessions, running :45 minutes (:30 minutes of instruction plus :15 minutes practice ice). These classes do not require equipment but require registering with Learn to Skate USA.
***Equipment bags are limited and are issued first come/first served. Registrants must contact Director of Hockey Development, immediately after registering or risk not receiving a loaner bag (see contact information at bottom of page). No equipment will be issued the day of the first session. Participants must register for Pucks and Parents by the registration deadline to receive discount and equipment.*** Registration by the deadline also includes "Early Bird" registration benefits.
